Terms of Service
v1.0 Last updated: July 22, 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and AirScoreBoard for using our tournament-management app and this website. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them.
01Who these terms are with
“AirScoreBoard,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the operator of the AirScoreBoard app and airscoreboard.com. “You” means the person or organization using the service. If you use AirScoreBoard on behalf of an organization, you confirm you’re authorized to accept these terms for it.
02Using AirScoreBoard
AirScoreBoard helps you run tournaments — building brackets and round-robin draws, recording match results, and keeping scores in sync across devices in real time. You may use it only in line with these terms and any laws that apply to you.
You need to be old enough to enter a binding contract where you live, and to be at least 13 years old, to hold an account.
03Your account
You sign in with a supported provider (such as Apple or Google). You’re responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping access to your sign-in method secure. Tell us promptly if you believe someone has used your account without permission.
04Your content and the people in it
You keep ownership of the content you add — tournaments, categories, players, results, photos, and other information (“your content”). You grant us the limited license needed to store, process, sync, and display that content so we can run the service for you and the collaborators you invite.
Because tournaments involve real people, you are responsible for having the right to add the player information and photos you upload, and for providing any notices or obtaining any consents that the people involved (or their parents or guardians, for minors) are entitled to. Don’t upload content you don’t have permission to use.
Results and awards are yours, not ours. When you record a result or issue a digital award or certificate through AirScoreBoard, you alone decide it and are solely responsible for it. We record and display what you enter; we do not determine, verify, or endorse any result, placing, or award. You grant us a license to display your name (or your organization’s name) as the issuer on the awards and certificates you issue, on their public pages, and in the previews shown when someone shares one, for as long as the award remains issued.
05Collaboration and invites
You can invite other people to help run a tournament by email, in roles such as assistant or scorekeeper. When you invite someone, you’re asking us to share that tournament’s data with them once they sign in. Only invite people who should have access, and remove access when it’s no longer needed.
06Acceptable use
Please don’t:
- break the law, infringe others’ rights, or upload content you have no right to share;
- attempt to access accounts, tournaments, or data that aren’t yours;
- probe, disrupt, or overload the service, or work around its security or access controls;
- scrape, crawl, or use bots to extract data from the service in bulk, or access it through anything other than our app and supported interfaces;
- reverse engineer, resell, or misrepresent the service; or
- use the service to store or share unlawful, harmful, or abusive content.
07Our intellectual property & your license to use the service
The AirScoreBoard app, website, software, design, and the AirScoreBoard name and logo are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. These terms don’t transfer any of those rights to you.
We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use AirScoreBoard for running your tournaments, in line with these terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, sublicense, or create derivative works from the service, or reverse engineer it, except to the extent the law expressly permits despite this restriction.
08Copyright & takedown notices
We respect intellectual-property rights and expect our users to do the same. If you believe content in AirScoreBoard infringes your copyright or other rights, email us at support@airscoreboard.com with enough detail to identify the work, where the allegedly infringing content is, your contact information, and a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use isn’t authorized.
When we receive a valid report, we may remove or disable access to the content, and we may suspend or terminate accounts of users who repeatedly infringe.
09Availability and changes
We work to keep AirScoreBoard reliable, but we may update, change, or discontinue features over time. We may also set reasonable limits to keep the service healthy. We’ll try to avoid disruption to your events, but we can’t guarantee the service will always be available or error-free.
10The service is provided “as is”
To the extent the law allows, AirScoreBoard is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. You’re responsible for keeping your own records of results that matter to you.
11Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we won’t be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law.
12Indemnification & release
To the extent the law allows, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from claims, damages, and reasonable expenses arising out of your content, your use of the service, or your breach of these terms — including claims about player information or photos you added without the necessary rights or consents.
Because tournaments are run between organizers, players, and collaborators, disputes about an event, a result, or someone’s data are between the people involved. To the extent the law allows, you release us from claims arising out of those disputes.
13Dispute resolution: arbitration & class-action waiver
If you have a concern, please contact support@airscoreboard.com first — most issues can be resolved informally.
Where binding arbitration is permitted and enforceable for you, you and AirScoreBoard agree that disputes that can’t be resolved informally will be settled by individual binding arbitration rather than in court, and that each of us may bring claims only in an individual capacity, not as part of a class or representative action. This does not apply where such terms are prohibited by the law that applies to you, and it doesn’t prevent either party from seeking relief in a small-claims court or asking a court for injunctive relief to protect intellectual-property rights.
14Export controls & restricted countries
You may use AirScoreBoard only where doing so is legal. You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a comprehensive government embargo or sanctions, and that you are not on any restricted- or denied-party list. You agree not to use or export the service in violation of applicable export-control and sanctions laws.
15Third-party links & linked accounts
You sign in through third-party providers such as Apple or Google, and the app and website may link to third-party services (for example the App Store or Google Play). Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and we’re not responsible for them. Your dealings with a third party are between you and that party.
16Ending your use
You can stop using AirScoreBoard at any time and ask us to delete your account and data (see our Privacy Policy). We may suspend or end access if you break these terms or use the service in a way that risks harm to others or to the service.
17Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service evolves. When we make material changes, we’ll update the date above and, where appropriate, let you know in the app. Continuing to use AirScoreBoard after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
18General
You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. These terms are the entire agreement between you and us about the service and replace any earlier agreements on the subject. We may send notices to you in the app or by email; you can reach us at support@airscoreboard.com.
If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them to improve AirScoreBoard without any obligation to you.
19Governing law & contact
These terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction to be confirmed], without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Questions about these terms? Email us at support@airscoreboard.com.
